POWER.

I am not shy in the fact that I have no issue in displaying my unconditional L.O.V.E. for the pure royalty that takes shape in the form of Lady Gaga.

I am a true Little Monster, through and through.

So, I am proud to say that the march 2011 edition of VOGUE - The Power Issue, has the Lady herself gracing the cover. She looks absolutely phenomenal, like a 1920's, pin-up, punk, flapper, couture queen.
Shot by Mario Testino on location at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp.

All hail the Gaga.

NAILS.

As I currently can't afford the luxury of having my nails manicured every week, I have taken it upon myself to attempt the artistic skill that belongs to WAH Nails in Dalston, who I've previously blogged about.

This is Sylva's manicure she got done in Leicester, the closest she could find to WAH.

I couldn't decide which colour-way I preferred out of these two?

Leopard...Pale blue underneath with hot pink on the thumb and fourth finger, orange on the rest.

Right and left hand. Done all on my own, I swear, with a paint brush.

If you want to know what colours or techniques I have used, don't hesitate to comment.

STOP MOTION

I keep telling myself to get up and do something new and I'd really love to learn how to make an AMAZING stop motion short film. I  found this one, which combines my love of cake along with the technique of stop motion. I think it's cool:

PLAYTIME

Before Emma Watson turned male she was actually quite hot. This shoot is old but it's lovely, shot by Ellen von Unwerth, Emma's just having a great time with great hair.

NUDE

I recently came across the photographer Simon Chaput and his black & white nudes.
I find them completely breathtaking and I thought I should share:

These photos make we want to express some more adoration for the female form in all it's glory. So here's some beautiful women:

(The gorgeous Helena Christensen)

BEARD & THE BARGE

These are two shoots that I styled for my friend Lora Hadridge, who is a lovely and talented photographer. The first shoot had an androgynous theme which is awesome as I love that whole vibe (Freja Beha). Firstly, the model Lora picked out failed to turn up, so after about 50 calls to the agency they finally send another modelwho is completely GORGEOUS.
Poor thing didn't know she had to wear a beard till last minute though. She didn't know it'd be superglued to her face either..
Photos are gorgeous, again, taken by Lora Hadridge - clothes sourced and styled by myself.

How great are the subtly changed lipstick colours for every photo?

The second shoot was inspired by the film 'My Beautiful Laundrette' which is an 80's film about the love between two men who, essentially, don't belong together but fight the odds because they're so mad for each other. I think they own a laundrette as well.
Lora wanted to use two girls instead of two men and she had two beautiful girls (Sue and Miriam) come to Camden canals to shoot. As the theme was as said above, the clothed were very much inspired by the 80's; acid wash and crazy prints.
Oh yea, in the story one of the men is a punk and the other is a bit of a business man, so I ran with those characters too.

So yep, shot by Lora Hardrige, clothing sourced and styled by myself, with Sue and Miriam modelling.

SEKSY

Scar-Jo doing her thing by Sheryl Nields for Esquire magazine. It's a bit old now but Scar's body is completely out of this world and beyond anything I could ever dream of and I will never stop admiring/perving on her.

V-DAY

The steady approach to valentines day is upon us. I'm not one of those dark-hearted people who label the holiday as 'The most over-rated holiday of the year' (That's New Years Eve, obvy). The only part of the valentines tradition that makes me somewhat sad is the fact that I am not Juliet wearing my massive white feathered wings and having Leo climb up to my balcony. A girl can dream though...

It could happen.

Maybe this is more realistic?

HAHA oh dear, Romy.
